The Lu'at

The Lu'at are a class of individuals who are said to receive their powers from the goddess Aslena who wished to create a race that helped to keep the balance between her world and the Underworld. It is also said that she created this race from her son, Kyjon, who had fallen from the grace of the Gods to live amongst the mortals. With this, many Lu'at are bound to a Guardian whose own powers can match or even surpass those of their Lu'at. The Lu'at's are also known for their dispute with the Witches because of their growing power and the threat they pose to Lu'ats and Guardians.
